David Haag

My name is David Haag. I'm a multi-award-winning Sports Broadcaster and Video Producer. I currently live in Omaha, Nebraska as the Director of Live Events for the University of Nebraska-Omaha Athletics. Prior to joining Omaha Athletics, I worked at KSNT-TV & FOX 43 News as a Newscast Director for their news shows.

At Omaha Athletics, I have the Lead Producer of the Game Day Experience for Men's & Women's Basketball, Men's & Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Hockey, Baseball, and Softball. I have in addition to being the Lead Producer for those teams was a Lead Producer for the 2022 Team U.S.A. Olympic Curling Trials while it was in Omaha, Nebraska.

I'm a graduate of Pittsburg State University where I obtained my bachelor's degree in Communication in December of 2016.

At Pittsburg State rather it was with Pittsburg State's Broadcast program or with Pitt State Athletics I've covered multiple Championship moments.

I previously worked with Midco Sports Network in Lawrence, Kansas as a Crew House Associate. I wore many hats with MidcoSN as I run a variety of positions from replay, camera operator, audio and graphics, or directing/tech directing. I've also gained experience in becoming an assistant to the engineer in setting up the productions. When I'm not doing sports production, I at times am an ENG personnel producing highlights for social media as well as their news shows.

During my time at MidcoSN, I have done sports production for the 6A Boy's and Girl's State basketball Championship Game as well as multiple high school playoff football and basketball games.

I have a strong passion and dedication to my craft in live sports production and producing/creating quality content for fans. I have gained nearly 9 years of experience in sports production and I'm working to learn more and expand my abilities as a videographer/editor and producer.
